Industrial Plant Model Karratha

Pluto LNG is a demonstration of Woodside's world-class LNG capabilities and expertise, with Woodside taking the project from discovery in 2005 to first production just seven years later. The scale model commissioned by Woodside provided the stakeholders a bird's eye view of the project before development commenced.

The Pluto and Xena gas fields are located about 190 kilometres off Karratha, in Western Australia's north-west. The total area of the Pluto leases for the onshore facility is about 200 hectares, of which the plant and associated infrastructure cover about 80 hectares.
